The Haruka Express is a direct express train connecting Osaka Station to Kansai International Airport. The estimated travel time from Osaka is about 50 minutes (with a one-way fare of 1,210 yen plus an express surcharge of 1,730 yen for a reserved seat during regular periods), and from Kyoto, it’s about 1 hour and 23 minutes (with a one-way fare of 1,910 yen plus an express surcharge of 1,730 yen). Both a ticket for the journey and an express ticket are required for travel.Because luggage space is available, this train is recommended for travelers. Reserved seating ensures a comfortable journey.

The Kansai Airport Rapid Service is a regular (as in not an express) train that directly connects Kansai International Airport with Osaka, stopping at stations such as Tennoji, Nishikujo, and Osaka. Seats are unreserved.The one-way fare from Kansai International Airport to Osaka is 1,210 yen, and the journey takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
