倭-YAMATO- is a Japanese taiko drumming ensemble based in Asuka Village, Nara Prefecture. Formed in 1993, they have performed over 4,700 times across 55 countries worldwide, reaching more than 10 million audience members. Known as "the Japanese taiko drumming ensemble that travels the world," they are internationally acclaimed for their powerful, full-body performances featuring massive taiko drums, including drums with a 2-meter diameter weighing 500 kilograms, crafted from 400-year-old trees. Don't miss their spectacular performance that fuses strength, artistry, and humor into an overwhelming experience!
